If you want to be a big hit at costume parties, consider this high-tech Darth Vader costume made of premium materials.  It’s the latest “Star Wars” gear offered by Anovos.

Of course, your wallet will also take quite a hit. But for “Star Wars” fans, this costume is a dream come true.

According to CNET, the costume features a three-piece leather undersuit, leather gloves, armor pieces constructed of fiberglass, a codpiece, belt and wool cape. An additional eye-catching feature is a box centered in the chest area that flashes with LED lights.  The creators of the costume paid special attention to the mask, using the original design from the film series as their model.

Anovos designed the costume with comfort in mind. In addition to the undersuit being made with ventilating material, the helmet has its own ventilation system and uses magnets to stay aligned on the head at all times.

Darth Vader himself would no doubt say, “Impressive. Most impressive.”

Sadly, the costume will not be available for this Halloween, as shipments are not expected to begin until May 2015.

Being a cosplay champ doesn't come cheap. Pre-order prices for the costume start at $4,624, but CNET reports that the full price is  $5,780.

Anovos also offers a standard version of the Darth Vader costume that features faux leather. The pre-order price for the standard version starts at $2,062 and rises to $2,750.

Fans will have to supply their own boots and lightsabers due to licensing restrictions.
