Petitions calling on ESPN to fire reporter Britt McHenry after her tirade against a towing company employee was caught on camera are gaining steam.
McHenry was suspended from ESPN for a week after the video of her insults went viral.

One petition at Change.org had 4,000 supporters by Friday afternoon.
More popular and trending stories
Another petition on the same site tied the call for her to be fired to an anti-bullying campaign. That one had 750 supporters by Friday afternoon.
A third petition, also on the same site, called for a much broader action against McHenry:
“We, the undersigned, petition ESPN Inc., the Walt Disney Company, ABC News, and all other employers of Britt McHenry to terminate all contracts with Britt McHenry immediately, and to terminate them permanently.”
