Taylor did not reveal any further details about the cancer diagnosis, preferring to keep those details private.

However, she said her mom wanted everyone to know about her diagnosis to encourage others to get cancer screenings.

Taylor said her mom might not be on tour with her as much this year, as she has an “important battle to fight.”

She ended her post by writing, “I hope and pray that you never get news like this.”
