"Ok but like...what would Labyrinth even BE without David Bowie? Go home, Hollywood, you're drunk," wrote user Alie Astrocyte.

Sarah Jo Dixie said, "Hollywood needs to concentrate on making future classics not butchering the existing ones."

"Guardians of the Galaxy" screenwriter Nicole Perlman was said to be hired to write the new "Labyrinth" but she put the rumors to rest on Twitter, saying there would be no "reboot."

"Guys, please don't fall for all the clickbait. No one is remaking "Labyrinth." That movie is perfect as it is," she wrote.

The original film follows 15-year old Sara, played by Jennifer Connelly, who follows a maze to the center of the labyrinth to save her brother from the Goblin King, played by David Bowie. The movie was released in 1986 and bombed at the box office but later grew a following.
