Former "Fashion Police" host Kelly Osbourne is responding to critics after a controversial comment she made Tuesday about Latinos sparked outrage on social media.

On Tuesday's episode of "The View," Osbourne tried to defend Latinos from Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump's recent comments, but wound up seriously offending many instead with an insensitive remark about the role immigrants play in this country.

"If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump?" Osbourne asked.

"The View" co-host Rosie Perez jumped in and quickly said, "There's more jobs than that in the country for Latinos, and Latinos are not the only people who clean toilets."

Twitter wasted no time creating an appropriate hashtag for the conversation surrounding the remark, #QueridaKellyOsbourne (Dear Kelly Osbourne). Plenty of people voiced their opinions on the matter and shared their personal stories of struggle growing up as immigrants in the U.S.

Osbourne addressed the controversy on her Facebook page Tuesday afternoon.

"I want to start by saying I ALWAYS take responsibility for my actions," she wrote. "In this particular case, I will take responsibility for my poor choice of words, but I will not apologize for being a racist as I am NOT."
