Ay, Dios mio!
The Puerto Rican Coquito is a creamy coco-nutty drink with rum that makes that shampoo in your shower, a reality. (Yes, I have coconut shampoo. And yes, it smells so good I want to eat.) If a coconut married eggnog, they would give birth to Coquito. There are many variations, but all are made with coconut milk, coconut cream, sugar, condensed milk and eggs. You can often find it garnished with cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg or other spices.

The Stateless Drink
The ingredients are simple: coffee liquor, vodka and a rich cream. Mix it all together and enjoy a sweet gulp a-la-frappuccino. Most bars can make this drink for you but nobody really orders this out. Most usually make it at home with family or friends.

Better than your highlighter
Germans are known to drink a lot of beer. But when the Christmas spirit takes over, these drinking experts trade in the hops for Glühwein. I'll give you a minute to figure out the pronunciation. Give up? Ok, I did too. This Christmas drink is believed to make you "glow" during the cold months because it's warm and tangy. It has oranges, water, sugar, cinnamon, cloves, wine and even rum. Some people add raisins and other fruits, and it's usually served hot.

BFFs
Hands down, one of my favorites drinks since I was a kid: the Peppermint Hot Cocoa. The traditional hot chocolate goes to a whole new level when you add mint. It's hot, sweet and creamy. Love it or hate it, chocolate and mint are better together. Want the adult version? Just add tequila and peppermint schnapps. 😉

An "American" Classic
A creamy holiday drink that takes over supermarkets every fall in the US is eggnog. City Cellar in West Palm Beach makes this golden-hued cocktail with a house-made cinnamon whiskey and homemade eggnog that's been steeped for one-week. It's garnished with a sprinkle of nutmeg and a cinnamon swizzle stick. Warning: Eggnog-rum can get your pretty buzzed during your holiday party and it's very fattening.
