Kylie Jenner is speaking out about a disturbing new beauty ritual that teens are using to get her pouty-lipped look.

Over the weekend, teens started sucking on shot glasses to plump their lips, then posting photos of the disastrous results on social media with the hashtag #KylieJennerChallenge. The technique could result in swelling, bruising and even "permanent disfigurement with repeated attempts," dermatologist Dendy Engelman told Seventeen.com.

The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star took to Twitter on Tuesday to tell girls to be themselves.

"I'm not here to try & encourage people/young girls to look like me or to think this is the way they should look. ... I want to encourage people/young girls like me to be YOURSELF & not be afraid to experiment w your look," she wrote.
