Lisa Van Allen of Alpharetta, the star witness for the prosecution in the R. Kelly trial, was riding in the car with her fiance when the verdict was read.

The couple said they were so unnerved they had to pull over.

"I am surprised that they made the decision this quickly," Van Allen said.

"I am definitely surprised [he was acquitted] with all of the overwhelming evidence they had,"

said Yul Brown, 38.

Van Allen said she does not regret testifying about her sex life with R. Kelly. The 27-year-old was the only witness to claim first-hand information about the alleged relationship between R. Kelly and the underage girl in the sex tape.

Van Allen did not appear in the tape used as evidence in the trial, but testified last week that she had a menage a trois with the singer and the girl. Van Allen was not charged with any crimes.

"My job was to tell the truth and that is what I did," Van Allen said. "I will never regret that."
