Atlanta-based Wendy's Co. will be adding jobs in Ohio, Columbus Business First reported Wednesday. The paper said the number of added positions won't be disclosed until Thursday. It is unclear how many jobs will be drawn from Atlanta.

Wendy's recently split with Arby's, which was purchased by Roark Capital Group, a private equity firm in Atlanta. That deal broke up a merger made about three years ago, and left an arrangement in which the Wendy's brand is headquartered in Dublin, Ohio but Wendy's Co. remains officially domiciled in Atlanta.

In early July, Wendy's Co. told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that it expected to maintain offices in Atlanta and Ohio, although a final decision about the location of the corporate headquarters had not been made.

Wendy's Co. declined to comment Wednesday.
