The group Booster Fuels wants to fill the need by letting you request a “fuel up” wherever you are.
With an app, Booster Fuels would let customers request a time for a fueling truck to show up at a certain location and fill up their vehicle.
The company buys its gas wholesale and wants to pass the savings on to consumers.
It’s already raised $9 million from investors.
GeekWire reports the company is moving its operations to Silicon Valley to be "closer to its customers."
Oregon and New Jersey are the only states in the U.S. that have some form of bans on self-service at gas stations.
