Atlanta Hawks
The Atlanta Hawks are set to hire more than 900 new employees to staff the newly renovated Philips Arena, with jobs including guest services, bartenders and housekeeping positions. If you're hired, you can also work at other Philips events in addition to Hawks games, including concerts featuring Nicki Minaj and Future, Justin Timberlake and Elton John.
Employees receive perks such as break rooms with complimentary beverages and snacks and the opportunity to win free Hawks tickets. Atlanta Public Schools
Atlanta Public Schools are looking for bus drivers, and they've increased pay to help attract more drivers. Starting pay is $17 an hour, with experienced drivers being able to earn up to $25.35 an hour. You'll receive benefits such as health and dental insurance and sick leave.
A $3,000 hiring incentive is available for hire-ready drivers with a Class B CDL (commercial driver's license with a P and S (passenger and school bus) endorsement. Training-ready drivers who hold a class A or B CDL but need an S and P endorsement can receive a $2,000 hiring incentive, and training is provided. Spectrum
Spectrum is boosting hiring nationwide for outside sales representatives in August, and a job fair will be held on Aug. 8 from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. at Hilton Garden Inn Perimeter Center, 1501 Lake Hearn Drive, Atlanta.
Benefits include paid training and time off, health packages, free Spectrum services and more. Register online in advance to receive priority interview status.
UPS
UPS has a lot of job openings nationally, according to Monster.com, and the company also has many positions available in the metro Atlanta area. UPS drivers are the most visible employees, and there are openings for these positions, but you'll also find jobs for a cost analyst supervisor, projects and communications specialist, data scientist and automotive mechanic.
