Delta Air Lines will discontinue flights from New York to Havana, Cuba effective Sept. 1.

The Atlanta-based airline in December 2016 launched fights to Havana from Atlanta, Miami and New York.

In February 2018, Delta drew down the New York-Havana route to once a week from daily. Meanwhile, it plans to add a second daily flight from Miami to Havana.

The Atlanta-Havana route remains unchanged, according to Delta spokesman Anthony Black.

“Delta’s Atlanta to Havana flight continues to meet expectations, and we have no plans to adjust the service at this time,” Black said in a written statement.
