Producer, writer and director Judd Apatow took to Twitter on Sunday night with a message for Georgia voters. The comedian, best known for his 2005 film, "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" suggested Georgia could lead the way in sending a message to the Trump administration.
Voters will decide who will replace former U.S. Rep. Tom Price whose 6th District covers part of the three counties.
They will also vote on a replacement for state Sen. Judson Hill, R-Marietta of Senate District 32 covering parts of Cobb and Fulton counties.
Apatow has been particularly outspoken against Trump, sharing his thoughts earlier this year in a conversation with New York Times Op-Ed Columnist, Maureen Dowd, titled " Judd Apatow Freaking Out Over Donald Trump ."
Much of Apatow's agitation has been shared on Twitter, but he told Dowd that he was trying to move away from going all Twitter fingers when sharing his political opinions.
“I’m trying to transition from making comments on social media to choosing one or two organizations to work with and support so that I feel like I’m actually being a positive part of the process. You don’t want to be a crank,” he said.
