GHSF Daily asked Georgia head coaches to answer these four questions. We'll report from a different head coach each day.

Tony Lotti, West Hall

1. Who is/was the most influential person in your coaching career? "My parents. I learn every day just how blessed I was to have my mom and dad supporting me in everything, the core values they taught and the importance of relationships. I played for Bud Theodocian at Morrow in the '80s, and he taught me a lot about the kind of coach I would want to be. I have learned a lot from several coaches I have been blessed to know throughout my career, but I will always owe a debt to my friend Mike McDonald at Newnan. He helped me get where I am today."

2. Who is the best Georgia player you ever faced? "I would have to say Greg Reid from Lowndes. I actually had to coach against him twice, once in the second round of the playoffs in '05 when I was at Union Grove and then again as a new startup program at Woodland. His versatility and speed was pretty special."

3. What is the best team you ever faced as a coach? "Up until these last three years here at West Hall, I would have said the Lowndes team that beat us in the second round in 2005. Without a doubt, now it is Buford of '13. The overall team speed and depth at all positions is beyond impressive."

4. If you were Gary Phillips, the new head of the GHSA, what would be the first rule that you would try to change? "I honestly wouldn't want his job."
