GHSF Daily asked Georgia head coaches to answer these four questions. We'll report from a different head coach each day.

Ed Koester, South Paulding

1. What is the most memorable game you've been a part of as a player or coach? "Most memorable game was the 1976 Astro-Bluebonnet Bowl vs. Vince Ferragamo and Nebraska. Lost by three, and we missed two field goals and an extra point. [Nebraska won 27-24. Koester was a tight end for Texas Tech under Steve Sloan.]

2. Which high school coach would you want your son to play for, and why? "Harold George, Mark Keppel High School, California. He had the ability to always get your best." [Mark Keppel, a Los Angeles area high school, is Koester's alma mater.]

3. What is your favorite saying/motto? "Good, Better, Best, we will never rest; until our good is our better and our better is our best!"

4. Which GHSA policy or high school football rule would you most like to see changed? "The insanity of reclassification politics."

[We found this video taken this year about Koester and his recent rehabilitation from cancer.]
