GHSF Daily asked Georgia head coaches to answer these four questions. We'll report from a different head coach each day.

Chris Slade, Pace Academy

1. What is the most memorable game you've been a part of as a player or coach? "This past weekend was my biggest game by far in my coaching career. GAC had lost two games in two years, both to the same opponent, Benedictine, so we're the second team to beat them. As a player, while at Virginia, beating Clemson for the first time in school history; also playing in the Super Bowl, for obvious reasons. The Clemson game was memorable because we'd never beaten them, and it was going on year 29. The ACC favorites that year were Clemson and us. That was the turning point of us getting over the hump against a better team. The Super Bowl, that game has so much hoopla leading up to it, and the game itself goes by so fast. Playing against Brett Favre and the Packers was pretty exciting." [Virginia beat Clemson 9-6 in 1993. Three seasons later, Slade was a starting linebacker for the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XXXI, which was won by the Green Bay Packers.]

2. Which high school coach would you want your son to play for, and why? "Wayne Brantley, Landmark Christian. We play them every year, and it's always a battle to the end. His team is mentally and physically tough and always prepared. He cares about his players."

3. What is your pet peeve as a coach? "My biggest pet peeve is walking on the field and players having their chin strap unbuckled before practice is over."

4. Which GHSA policy or high school football rule would you most like to see changed? "I'm OK with the GHSA. Never going to make everyone happy!"
