GHSF Daily asked Georgia head coaches to answer these four questions. We'll report from a different head coach each day.
Jason Galt, North Forsyth
1. What is the most memorable game you've been a part of as a player or coach? "Definitely our first-round playoff game at Thomas County Central in 2010 when I was at Dutchtown. They beat us 55-0 my first year in 2007. To go down there and win the game 15-0 and them not cross midfield the entire game was something I will always remember."
2. Which high school coach would you want your son to play for, and why? "Hopefully my son will play for me if he decides to play football, but playing for Billy Henderson [retired Clarke Central coach] would definitely be my first choice. He was a great motivator and molder of young men."
3. What is your pet peeve as a coach? "Cell phones used by coaches anytime during workouts or practice."
4. Which GHSA policy or high school football rule would you most like to see changed? "Unequivocally without any doubt the 3-yard expanded neutral zone for linemen when a forward pass is thrown. This rule has to go! It's nearly impossible to teach defensive players any kind of read key with this in place. How can referees truly enforce this rule? I guess with this rule, quarterbacks should be able to go up to 3 yards past the line of scrimmage to throw a pass as well. I really do not like this rule."
