GHSF Daily asked Georgia head coaches to answer these four questions. We'll report from a different head coach each day.

Dorwyn Lyles, Drew

1. Who is/was the most influential person in your coaching career? "My dad, Cedell C. Lyles Jr. He was never a high school coach, but I witnessed him coach other levels with such passion and drive. He was very well respected and always stressed being disciplined and accountable." [Coach Lyles grew up in Winston-Salem, N.C., and graduated from high school in Pennsylvania.]

2. Who is the best Georgia player you ever faced? "James Davis, Douglas High School. Hard runner, very tough to tackle."

3. What is the best team you ever faced as a coach? "Sandy Creek 2009-10. Very sound and persistent. Great talent and coaching."

4. If you were Gary Phillips, the new head of the GHSA, what would be the first rule that you would try to change? "Allow teams to play other schools in spring scrimmages."
