This new web hack scrubs Donald Trump from your timeline

Creator Rob Spectre, who created a similar hack to erase Derek Jeter references a while back, described the de-Trumping project as his holiday mission.

"The hack ended up being more extensive than I imagined it would be," he said on his site. "A lot of the filtering techniques had to be adjusted for the problem domain - fortunately many journalism sites do leverage the semantic web in a way that makes the filtering quite a bit more precise. The 'mild' setting should be good enough for most use cases."
