Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel pulled one over on trendy Fashion Week style setters, sending a crew out to ask about such well-known designers as Betsy Ross, Chandler Bing and  Bartles & Jaymes.

While the creator of the American flag, the "Friends" character and the company behind fruity wine coolers don't actually design clothes, that didn't stop people from rhapsodizing about their supposed fashion lines.

"Very elegant, very stylish," one guy says, referring to the non-existent Bartles & Jaymes threads.

"It's a big trend coming in," a lady says after she's just given thumbs-up to the robes collection ushered in by U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia.

"Phil Robertson is beyond one of my favorites," yet another guy says regarding the mythical line designed by the "Duck Dynasty" patriarch.

Jimmy Kimmel Live airs at 11:30 p.m. weeknights on Channel 2, following Channel 2 Action News Nightbeat. Be sure to tune in nightly and for now, check out this hilarious clip!
