"Saturday Night Live" took on Harvey Weinstein this weekend.
The "Weekend Update" segment with Colin Jost and Michael Che began with a bulletin on supposed new emojis: someone at a spa, a vomiting face and a shush - "finally giving emoji fans the ability to describe what it was like to work for Harvey Weinstein."
The audience groaned before laughing, sort of.
"He doesn't need sex rehab. He needs a specialized facility where there are no women, no contact with the outside world, metal bars and it's a prison," Jost said to robust applause.
Che addressed the dicey nature of commenting on Weinstein, who's been fired from his own company, kicked out of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences and reportedly entered rehab following the explosive allegations revealed first by The New York Times, then The New Yorker.
"This is a tough spot for a comedian. It's so hard to make jokes about sexual assault but it's so easy to make jokes about a guy who looks like this," he said, pointing to a photo of Weinstein. "He looks like chewed bubble gum rolled in cat hair."
Che also slammed Weinstein's remarks that he's made "mistakes."
"You assaulted dozens of women. That's not a mistake," Che said. "That's a full season of 'Law & Order.'"

Weinstein also was the subject of a film roundtable with Leslie Jones as Viola Davis, Cecily Strong as Marion Cotillard and Kate McKinnon in her recurring role as dotty film legend "Debette Goldry."
