Hillary Clinton gave a gracious concession speech just before noon on Wednesday, urging the country to come together, and thanking supporters. Her attire reflected her comments of unity: Both she and Bill Clinton and several other key members of her campaign team showed up to her concession speech wearing bipartisan purple.

"We need you to keep up these fights now and for the rest of your lives," she said to supporters. "To all of the women, especially young women.. nothing has made me prouder than to be your champion."

Although she did not crack the proverbial glass ceiling, Clinton said, she is hopeful someone will, soon.

"To all the little girls watching: Never doubt that you are valuable and powerful and deserving of every chance and opportunity in the world to pursue and achieve your own dreams. I am so grateful for our country and for all it has given to me. I count my blessings every single day that I am an American.

In closing she said "If we stand together and work together .. our best days are still ahead of us. I believe we are stronger together. Scripture tells us, 'let us not grow weary...'

Let us have faith in each other. Let us not grow weary. There are seasons to come and there is more work to do."
