The shootings left 14 dead and others injured. Suspects Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik were killed afterward, in shootout with police.

Rivera stayed busy adding his commentary via Twitter as the situation unfolded in California. (These tweets have been edited to remove epithets).

Rivera also had praise for the law enforcement officers who secured the scene and later encountered the shooting suspects.
