Second Self fourth anniversary
Second Self Beer Co. celebrates its fourth anniversary on Saturday and Sunday with two days of beer and food trucks. The brewery and tasting room will be open with four drink stations and some 40 beers pouring, including old favorites, new creations, barrel-aged projects and offerings from the Wild Side series, plus the pre-release of Red Hop Rye. Food for sale features tacos from the Real Mexican Vittles and whole hog barbecue from Illegal Food on Saturday, and Deep South Biscuits on Sunday. Der Biergarten Oktoberfest run and fun
Billed as "Munich on Marietta," Der Biergarten continues its Oktoberfest celebrations on Saturday at 9 a.m. with its annual 9 a.m. through Downtown Atlanta. At noon, the party resumes with 18 different German beers on draft, bratwursts and other German fare, and live music all day. Noon-8 p.m. Oct. 6. 300 Marietta Street NW, Atlanta. 5 Seasons Westside Octoberfest beer release
The annual family-friendly Oktoberfest celebration at 5 Seasons Westside features the release of its seasonal Oktoberfest lager on draft. And this year, Oktoberfest will available in cans to-go for the first time, with another version aged in a Resurgens Rye barrel pouring in limited quantities.
