Atlanta band Pony League performed a surprise concert on a Southwest Airlines flight from Atlanta to Dallas as part of a competition of musical artists performing at 35,000 feet.

Pony League is one of six artists from different cities that are competing to be the opening act at a free concert by The Fray at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in the Denver area on June 26. The band is made up of Jay "Chief" Howell , Gus Fernandez, Cyclone Charlie Mills, Mason Turner and Justin Green.

Pony League is competing against Fort Lauderdale's Edan Archer, Phoenix-based band Sundressed, Los Angeles-based group Pom Poms, Nashville-based band The Daybreaks and Washington, D.C.-based Broke Royals. A panel of judges will choose the winner.
