Author Brené Brown will be a keynote speaker at South by Southwest Interactive 2016, the festival announced on Tuesday.

Brown will speak on Saturday, March 12, joining previously announced opening and closing keynote speakers Casey Gerald, CEO of MBAs Across America and Andy Puddicombe of Headspace.

Brown is a researcher and author of books including "Daring Greatly," "Rising Strong" and "The Gifts of Imperfection."

She’s a research professor at the University of Houston in the Graduate College of Social Work.

Brown shot to fame with a TEDxHouston talk called “The Power of Vulnerability” that has to date been viewed more than 25 million times. You can see that video below:

Later today, finalists for the SXSW Accelerator Awards will be announced. I’ll add a link to that information in this post when it’s available.
