Which school has the best team logo in the SEC? That’s completely arbitrary, but Athlton Sports has drawn its own conclusion, and the honor goes to the Tennessee Volunteers.
Athlon Sports consulted with a graphic designer, who ranked every logo in the conference. Here's what he said about the Vols' logo:
"The Volunteers' power T is probably the best logo in the SEC for one reason: it's so recognizable. The unique style of the T is unlike any other and who can forget that bright orange?"
So there you go. Recognizability and a color that stands out is what makes for a good logo and, in Tennessee’s case, the best logo in its conference.
Which team has the worst logo? The South Carolina Gamecocks, of course:
"Gamecocks, you've got too much going on in your logo. It all starts to blur together and then it's hard to see what it really is."
