After eight years in Atlanta, Jim Whitlow is closing DEKA.

The store, launched in 2007, offered an apparel destination for women seeking athletic inspired clothing. Whitlow, who left his post at Jeffery Atlanta to open the shop, is headed West with his family.

Right now, you can get 50 percent off all items in-store including activewear, Free City sweats, and tees.

DEKA is a premiere destination for Newton running shoes and while there are some left, the selection is limited.

Store hours are Monday  – Saturday, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Sunday 12 – 6 p.m.

The anticipated closing date is the end of June.
