Many athletic directors would love to have a coach like Nick Saban in charge of their football teams.

Alabama now has another guy who sounds like Saban.

Rob Ezell, who was hired for the program’s support staff, gained notoriety for his Saban impressions when he played for the Crimson Tide from 2007-10.

The impression aired on ESPN in 2010.

Here is Ezell talking about it.

Ezell was a grad assistant under former Alabama offensive coordinator Jim McElwain at Colorado State for the past two seasons after one season as a volunteer assistant at Alabama. McElwain was hired to replace Will Muschamp at Florida.

"I think he has the make up for (coaching)," McElwain told AL.com in 2013. "I think he's going to be successful the way he's able to translate and teach. I think that's what it's all about. He has a chance to be a great teacher."
