No need to make a run for bread, milk or batteries based on the snow forecast that’s already showing up for next week.

Forecasters say worry is likely wasted on this particular winter incident.

“At this time, it only looks to be limited snow showers or mix showers with an arctic cold front Tuesday afternoon and evening,” Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Brian Monahan said Saturday.

“Minimal to no impacts to travel, etc., are expected at this time.”

Currently, there’s a 30 percent chance of precipitation Tuesday, and the low is forecast for 32. Wednesday’s high is expected to be 30. However, residents should plan to stay bundled up — lows will again approach the teens when Wednesday rolls around.
