Grumpy Cat, everyone’s favorite ill-tempered Internet celebrity, posed with fans at the Omni Austin before being whisked away for a weekend’s worth of events intended primarily to promote the new Cat Concoctions meals from her sponsor, Friskies. (Grumpy Cat’s favorite of these “curious combinations chosen by cats”? Lamb and Clam.)

Tabatha Bundesen, Grumpy Cat’s human, said the feline’s favorite things about Austin include “the rainy weather, the cat naps, the crowds and the traffic.”

Want to meet her during SXSW? She'll be begrudgingly available from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at the #CatConcoctions event at 200 Congress Ave., #2B. For more information, visit facebook.com/TheOfficialGrumpyCat.
