Georgia will begin its 2022 conference schedule with a game at South Carolina, two weeks after beginning the season against Oregon at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sept. 3.
That was one item learned from the SEC’s release of the 2022 schedules for all 14 conference teams.
After facing Oregon in a Chick-fil-A Kickoff game, Georgia plays its home opener against Samford on Sept. 10 at Sanford Stadium. The week after facing South Carolina, the Bulldogs go up against Kent State at home.
The schedule features a bye week the week before Georgia play Florida in its annual game in Jacksonville, on Oct. 29.
