Coach Dan Quinn said wide receiver Leonard Hankerson will not participate in practice Thursday.

Hankerson suffered a hamstring injury in the Falcons loss against the Colts on Nov. 22 and is held out of practice for the second straight week.

“He’s not ready yet,” Quinn said. “I don’t anticipate him going out today, (and he didn’t) yesterday.”

In his fifth season in the league and first with the Falcons, Hankerson has 26 receptions for 327 yards and three touchdowns.

Hankerson suffered a hamstring injury in the Falcons 10-7 win over the Titans. The injury caused him to miss the Falcons’ first game against the Buccaneers on Nov. 1 and the 17-16 loss against the 49ers on Nov. 8.

Quinn said Hankerson still has room to improve on the strength of his hamstring.

“Until he’s ready and he’s able to just haul and go, he’s still going to be going through part of the process and going through the rehab to get back,” Quinn said.
