Falcons coach Dan Quinn on Sunday gave his film review of second-year offensive lineman Matt Gono.
Gono, who played at Wesley in Delaware, started at left tackle and played 40 snaps Thursday against the Dolphins.
“Gono, there (are) some really physical plays,” Quinn said. “That’s the thing that jumped out. His urgency to go. We’ll play him at, you’ve seen him already play tackle. He’ll play guard this week at practice. You’ll see him play some at right tackle.

“The penalties were (a problem.) He had three in the game. Hands to the face. He had a false start and a hold. As he’s learning on the job, I like that because of the urgency and physicality that he’s playing with. He’s definitely someone that has our attention.
“Often times, the night before the game, I’ll ask some of the veteran players who are you excited to see play tomorrow. A couple of people have listed him because they know of the work that he’s put in.”
