Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan is 1-3 over the past four games and the offense has been in funk.

Here’s what he had to say about the Indianapolis Colts:

Q: Is Vontae Davis one of the top cornerbacks in the league?

A: Vontae is playing at a really high level. When you watch them, they play a lot of man coverage and isolate him. He travels around the field and does a great job. Extremely athletic. His speed is as good as anybody's in the league. His ability to stop and start and break on routes is impressive. We'll have to be aware of where he's at and we'll certainly show him the respect that he deserves.

Q: Are you impressed by Matt Hasselbeck still playing at age 40?

A: I hope I'm able to keep playing for as long as I can. Matt is impressive. I think a lot of the younger guys forget how good he was in Seattle and how good those teams were. Specifically offensively, they were really, really good. Certainly, he comes from a school that prepares you very well for the NFL, especially at the quarterback position. (Both are Boston College grads.)

Q: What’s been the key to your success coming off of bye weeks?

A: Obviously, the rest. Any time that you can get it during the season, it's huge. You have a chance to relax, re-charge, to get fresh, to take a look at some things. I think that helps, but other than that, I can't really pinpoint anything.
