Kennesaw State promoted Katie Egloff to associate athletic director/senior woman administrator, Owls AD Vaughn Williams announced Tuesday. On Monday, KSU announced the hiring of Matt Griffin as assistant AD for internal operations.

Egloff joined the KSU athletic program in 2011 as assistant AD for championship and events. Griffin previously was AD at Southern Poly for the past two years.

In addition to serving as senior administrator for women’s sports, Egloff will continue to oversee facilities operations, game-day operations and event management and serve as the administrator for women’s golf and lacrosse. She also is leading the planning for football game days, which will begin with the 2015 season.

Egloff joined Kennesaw State after spending two years as part of the University of Connecticut’s event management team where she worked under Williams.

Griffin will oversee business operations, serve as administrator for soccer, softball and men’s and women’s tennis and advise KSU’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
