The Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game and Peach Bowl accounted for a combined attendance of 144,109, 15.4 million television viewership, $20.3 million team payout and $10.1 million in charity and scholarship giving. The numbers were released on Thursday.

The Kickoff game between Washington and Auburn had an attendance of 70,103, the highest for the game, a television viewership of 6.1 million and a total team payout of $8.3 million. The Peach Bowl between Florida and Michigan had an attendance of 74,006, the second-highest attended bowl game, a television viewership of 9.3 million and a total team payout of $12 million, $6 million to each school.

The Peach Bowl charitable giving includes:

$8 million: Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame

$515,000: Endowed Scholarship Program

$405,500: University Head Coach Foundations (various)

$400,000: Atlanta Public Schools: Childhood Literacy Initiative and Academic Mentoring Program

$357,000: Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Touchdowns for Children’s Campaign

$200,000: American Red Cross (Hurricane relief)

$175,000: WinShape Foundation

$ 50,000: Lions Lighthouse Foundation

$ 50,000 : Lions Clubs International

According to the Peach Bowl, the total charitable contributions are now $32.8 million since 2002.
