With the imminent sale of Miguel Almiron to Newcastle, and the team about to head to California, here's a look at Atlanta United's roster, complete with international slots and my guess as to a depth chart:

ROSTER

Ambrose, Mikey, FB

Asiedu, Anderson, M

Barco, Ezequiel, M

Bashti, Amir M

Bello, George FB

Carleton, Andrew M

Escobar, Franco, FB/CB

Gallagher, Jon FB

Gonzalez Pirez, Leandro, CB

Goslin, Chris M

Gressel Julian M/FB

Guzan, Brad GK

Hernandez, Jose FB

Kann, Alec GK

Kratz, Kevin M

Kunga, Lagos F

Larentowicz, Jeff DM/CB

Martinez, Josef F

Martinez, Pity M

McCann, Chris M/FB

Moore, Brendan GK

Nagbe, Darlington M

Okonkwo, Patrick F

Parkhurst, Michael CB

Pereria, Dion M

Remedi, Eric M

Robinson, Miles CB

Shea, Brek M/FB

Vazquez, Brandon M/F

Villalba, Hector M/F

Wild, Gordon, F

Williams, Romario, F

The team has 32 players. MLS rosters have a maximum of 30 slots. Teams can loan players on season-long deals That means at least one player is going to go on a loan. My prediction is several will be loaned to Atlanta United 2 for the season. Those players include, alphabetically, Asiedu, Bashti, Gallagher, Goslin, Okonkwo, Pereria and Wild. Some may not go for the season.

The team has yet to say if Asiedu and Bashti have signed contracts. It’s possible they could sign with Atlanta United 2, which will open two roster spots.
