Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor: Royal baby’s name reminds Twitter of other famous Archies

Meghan Markle isn't the only American to give birth to a royal baby. In 1949, Rita Hayworth married Prince Aly Khan, son of the leader of Nizārī Ismaili Muslims, and gave birth to Princess Yasmin Aga Khan. Grace Kelly married Rainer III, Prince of Monaco, in 1956 and had three children with him: Princess Caroline, Prince Albert and Princess Stephanie. Caroline Lee Bouvier, Jackie Kennedy's sister, married Polish Prince Stanislaw Albrecht Radziwill and became Her Serene Highness Princess Caroline Radziwil

On Wednesday, Great Britain's Prince Harry and his wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, announced the name of their new bundle of joy: Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

The baby was born May 6, and he was revealed to the world on Wednesday.

The little one joins a list of other famous Archies. In fact, folks on social media thought of quite a few, including the beloved comic character of the same name as well as the characters from “All In The Family” and “Riverdale.”

Many said they loved the name Archie and sent their congratulations.

And a few shared photos of their own loved ones named Archie.
