Nancy James, of North Lauderdale, said she went to her complex’s pool Saturday to ask someone at a party to turn down the music.

“I didn’t even really get to walk in, and this kid comes from behind, picks me up, drops me and drags me into the pool,” James said.

She had bruises on her shoulder and leg after the attack.

The teenager who picked her up surrendered to police.

He is charged with battery.

"This kid just hasn't evolved yet into what you're supposed to be as a human being," James said of the teen.
