A wreck in Winder killed two men Friday.
The wreck happened when a vehicle skidded off of Ga. 53, which was wet from heavy rain, Winder police said. Two passengers were killed instantly, but a third was left uninjured, police said.
Winder police are still investigating the accident to see if factors other than weather contributed to the wreck that occurred between Cedar Valley Trail and Hillcrest Drive.
The names of the victims are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
