Police say the victim and Mitchell Griffith got into a confrontation about the noise she was making while going up and down some stairs.  The victim and her friend then walked back up the stairs.

Later on, she walked back down the stairs with her friend and Griffith was waiting with a knife.

"The suspect stabbed the victim twice," TPD said.  "Once in the left hip and once under the left arm."

At last check, a condition of the victim hasn't been released.

Griffith was arrested and taken to the Tulsa County Jail.  He faces a count of assault with a deadly weapon.
