In his catch Sunday, a lobsterman pulled in a cerulean crustacean.

Tom Birarelli, who owns and is captain of the F/V Hat Trick estimates the rare blue lobster is about 1.25 pounds.

Birarelli said he'll either find a home for the rare lobster or will release it back into the ocean.

Blue lobsters occur due to a genetic mutation and it's estimated only one out of every 2 million lobsters is blue.
