Was the AJC’s new true-crime podcast, “Breakdown,” inspired by “Serial”?

You bet. So says AJC senior legal affairs reporter Bill Rankin, who talked about the origin of “Breakdown” to WSB-AM host Scott Slade in a recent interview on the Morning News Sunday Edition.
