Called Crossover Day, Wednesday was the last day for bills to “cross over” from one chamber to the other and still have a clear path to becoming law.

Wednesday also was Day 28 of the Georgia Assembly's 40-day legislative session. The House and Senate are scheduled to adjourn on March 29.
