U.S. Olympic Swim Team members Gunnar Bentz and Jack Conger were detained in Rio de Janeiro Wednesday night, following their teammate Ryan Lochte's allegations that a group of swimmers had been robbed at gunpoint. 

Bentz, a University of Georgia standout, and the University of Texas’ Conger were removed from an airplane bound for the United States and were taken to the police station at Galeão International Airport.

Attorney Sergio Viegas told The Associated Press that Conger and Bentz left the Rio de Janeiro airport for an unspecified location in Brazil and had yet to testify. The swimmers did not speak to reporters upon leaving, but the USOC said they will cooperate with police.
