But the valet didn't expect the $400,000 luxury sports car to catch fire when he over-revved the engine while passing crowds of people.

In a video captured by a passerby, the valet can be seen stressing out about the flaming car.

Another person comes into the frame to spray the flames with a fire extinguisher, but it's too late: The car was undriveable and had to be pushed down the street.

It's unclear if the man kept his job or if charges have been filed against him.
