According to court papers obtained by WPXI, police said Lambing called his grandmother on March 28 and told her, "I got a note I'm going to show you when you come in and stuff, all right?"
“OK. All right. Yeah,” his grandmother replied.
“I can't really talk, you know,” Lambing said, according to the documents.
Police said a corrections officer found a note later that day in Lambing’s cell referring to someone who could help him “snip cuffs” while he was being transported to the courthouse for a hearing.
Lambing is being held in a private cell. He was arrested March 22 after police said he sexually assaulted Bentley Miller, which caused severe injuries that led to the boy’s death.
