2. Jimmy Carter says he'll attend Gregg Allman's funeral. Former President Jimmy Carter said he will attend Gregg Allman's funeral in Macon on Saturday. "Gregg Allman was there when I needed him and Rosalynn and I have always been grateful to him," Carter, 92, said in a statement. 3. Search on for shooter after man killed outside Buckhead shopping center. Atlanta police are asking for the public's help identifying a man suspected of shooting and killing another man outside a busy Buckhead shopping plaza. A man in a white-ribbed T-shirt is believed to be the "primary aggressor," but as many as three people assaulted the victim, police said. [Read more]
