It is clear the majority of the public does not want the new stadium nor the streetcar. Obviously we have no voice.

Maybe Congress should meet for only 3 months a year. They could do a lot less damage to our economy.

So the TSA thinks knives should be allowed on airlines, but not hairspray. What has happened to common sense?

Remember how we use to laugh at corrupt South American politics? Now they laugh at us.

I wish the media would lighten up with the coverage of the election of the new Pope. I don't think the interest is as widespread as they assume.

You know the economy is bad when a working person cannot afford a place to live.

"What are the elected officials giving up ?" The answer is simple. They are giving up their self-respect.

Too bad the Mayor Reed didn't have the Falcons promise to keep the ticket prices frozen for 2 or 3 years.

How selfish is it of you to drive to work on the highway while your home is protected by police and firemen and your kids taught by teachers, and yet you are unwilling to help pay for it?

A streetcar named "greed". Demand does not always mean increased cost.

Never do anything because you expect something in return. Do it because it is the right thing to do.
